Don’t miss the magic that Cafe Le Monde executive chef Oliver Carruthers will be creating with Q Oysters for the Oyster INdulgence. What about trying them at least eight ways from Kombucha Granita; Verdita Shooter with Tequila, pineapple, jalapeno and coriander; Rockefeller, grilled with garlic, Pernod and parsley butter; to a Po Boy, which is a deep-fried oyster slider with lettuce and hot sauce; or how about a Smoked Oyster Chowder? Extras and accompaniments will include duck fat fries and Tanglewood rye bread with Pepe Saya butter. He knows what he’s doing as he trained under Michelin-starred chefs in England and worked with renowned Australian chefs such as Peter Gilmoreand Guillaume Brahimi. Before heading to Noosa, he was executive chef of the The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room so he’s pretty mad about the molluscs.
